Even though history is often the story of kings and queens, wars and great adventures – the common people is not just the backbone but the very heart of any community, in any time period.
It is of course not as easy to find their story, as it has not been as eagerly recorded.
But on this section of Took’s Tales, I will share the history of Scandinavia’s common people. It will be everything from how they were affected by things such as wars, diseases and famine, how they celebrated holidays and the true stories of real individuals.
